    Riddles.
    What is black and white and read all over ?
    Ans. A newspaper.
    A little round and white house and it is full of meat. It has no doors or windows to let me in to eat ?
    Ans. An egg.
    Why is a flea so much like a train ?
    Ans. Because it runs on sleepers.
    As round as an apple, as plump as a ball, can climb the church over steeple and all ?
    Ans. The moon or sun.
    What part of a car goes into the town first ?
    The noise.
    As I went out in a slippery gap I met my Uncle Davy with iron nose and thimble toes upon my word he would frighten the crows ?
    A gun.
    A kitchen full and a room full and could not catch a spoonful ?
    Smoke.
    I have a little sister. She sits in the ditch every time you go near her. She would give you the itch.?
    A nettle.
    What part of a cow goes out in a gap first ?
    The breath.
