Another Raheen is situated on Brien's Farm Inch

On the land of James Kehoe Killincooley there is what is regarded locally as a Fairy Fort
Mr Kehoe says he would not meddle with the soil of that place if he got the "Sweep" for doing so.
The foll story is told :-
In the towns land of Tinnaberna lived a family named Ryan who had a son Tom aged 12.
Mrs Whelan a neighbour sent Patrick to Mrs Ryan on a message
Mrs Ryan inquired if he saw Tom. Patrick said "Not"
She went outside + said "There he is hurling on the Raheen Dont you see his red shirt" Whelan saw the boy and Mrs Ryan + himself went in search of the lad but when they arrived he was not to be seen.
When they arrived home Tom was sitting at the fire + vowed he had never been near the Raheen that day.
