    were executed and more got to other Countries with their lives. The Hores then erected a beautiful mansion, which they lived in for many years. It was called and known as the Ruthven estate. Some bad luck followed the doings of this party as at present there are no signs of human life in these places - no houses - no trees, which was once in splendour and kept so by the labour of the old inhabitants of the Parish, many of whom lived to an old age and some who are alive and well at the present day
