    How the Goban was tricked
Many a one wonders how it was that the Goban's son was such a cluasan and the father the cleverest man of his day, but very few of them knows that as wise as the Goban was he was made a fool of at one time. It was when his only child was born and this is the way it was and when you hear the story you'll understand that the best of all can be outwitted.
The Goban was far from home, (for he used to travel everyplace building castles for kings and great people) when the child was born. It was a gearacuile but the poor wife was so donuidhe she had no heed for what it was, the creature.
