- People have the cure for a lot of ailments and they are called charms. Some people have the cure of a thorn in the hand. If you have a thorn in your hand they will say a prayer over the hand, and they say it will come out itself. But you must have belief in the cure.
The cure for a sty is to get ten gooseberry thorns, and throw away the tenth one. And for nine mornings throw away each one of the thorns.
Some people can cure ailments when others can't.
