   St. Patrick's Day falls on the seventeenth day of March. It is not kept as a holiday of obligation in any country except Ireland. The reason why the Irish keep it as a holiday of obligation is because it was St. Patrick who taught them the True Faith.
   On this day the people wear shamrock or harps or ribbons because when St. Patrick was teaching he took up the shamrock that was growing at his feet and
