  1. Patrick Wallace Dalystown was called the Poet Wallace. He composed a lot of songs.
    He made a present of a lamb to an employee Jim Linch on conditions that he would rear it. He took this lamb to the fair of Tyrrellspass and sold him. They had a great spree and a lot of people were invited to it - Clock Teery, Wallace etc.
    Patrick Wallace, the poet composed a poem in memory of the spree.

    Did out - do them all.
    We had Hugh McGarry from Clonfad
    Clock Feery down from Fan
