April 1938 - Rush Lights Rushes are gathered in the bogs and marshes. They are then peeled leaving a very narrow strip of the green peel to keep the rush from breaking. Old women in the country parts gather and peel the rushes and tape them in little bundles to the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
