    wove themselves was called "droggit." They also grew their own flax, and made fine and coarse linen. They made sheets of the coarse linen which they called "bunna" sheets.
    They also reared their own sheep and spun the wool into yarn and wove it into blankets and flannel and frieze cloth for clothing for the men. They also made long frieze capes for the men, which they called "thrusties." They also made shirts of flannel for the men.

    Long ago a man named John Glachen from the parish of Fletcherstown, won great fame for himself at the "long jump."
    In a field which is owned by Jack Flood he jumped a great length, and it is still called the sports field.
