There are carvings on the doorway and windows. There were precious stones and ornaments in it. Oliver Cromwell knocked it down when he was in Ireland in 1649.
- People used to live in old houses long ago. They were bad old houses with thatched roofs. Some of them had no windows but big wide open doors and sometimes a half - door.
