    about seventeen years ago. There was a child and a woman burned in that fire. The other house was Farrelly's, Those houses were thatched ones and were easily burned.

  2. There are potatoes grown athome. We have about 1 rd of them. My father prepares the ground for them. The ground is not manured before turned up. The potatoes are sowed both in ridges and drills. The drills are made with a plough and sometimes the ridges are marked
