Ar an leathanach seo
- Long ago the people had a custom of waking their dead for three or four days before burying them. Their reason for this was because they thought they would come to life again.
During the wake the people smoked and snuffed, danced and sang. There would be great quantities of tobacco and pipes and snuff got, and everyone who would go to the wake, who would have to have some.
They all kept jolly because they imagined the dead person would come to life again.
They played games; "My man Jack and forfeits were two of them.
"My man Jack"
A number of people would gather round and each person was given the name of a different kind of food, and one(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
