    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    My home district is Irish Grange. It is situated in the parish of Cooley. There are about 30 families in the district and upwards of 130 people. Coyle is the commonest family name.
    There are three types of house, slated, thatched, and tiled. It is not known how the townland got its name. There are ten old people in the district. They do not know any Irish. They cannot tell stories. Houses were not more numerous in former times. There are six old houses now in ruins. People went to America long ago from Irish Grange. The townland is not mentioned in any song or saying. the land in this district is good. There is no wood growing in Irish Grange. There is a stream but no rivers or lakes. There are no stories connected with them.
