He halted thinking to address her and she also halted. Judging by her appearance he knew she was not of this world. He came to the conclusion it was better leave her alone. He hastened his steps but as fast as he travelled she kept pace with him and never parted him until he entered the gate leading to this home. Seán bolted the door after entry, said his prayers and went to bed quickly not to sleep but to ponder over this strange appariation. He was no coward but he was a bit scared.
   He related the adventure to his brother Paddy. Next morning. He replied. "There is something after you." This is what comes of night walking and late hours; better give it up. "That's what you think but I dont, I am going to solve this mystery or die in the attempt." Next night Seán was out as usual and the same thing happened. He pondered long over it and resolved to try the third night.
   The third night she appeared to Seán but was not content to escort him to the gate, but when he sat by the fire after entering his home she appeared outside
