In the middle of summer the people again lit bonfires on the hilltop to honour the summer season.
On Hallow E'en the people again lit bonfires in the hills in order to light the sun down to a place of misery and darkness which was called Winter.=
These fires were called "The Fires of Peace".
The sun was called "Grian" or Bel.
