  1. An English soldier was shot and was buried in Matehy Graveyard. One night every grave in the graveyard removed except the soldier's grave. The graves crossed a river named Foxes Ford. Within a short distance of Matehy they stopped on top of Rock. In the river there is part of the old ruin that was in the graveyard.

    Lion is a noble man or woman with brains and wealth.
    A white horse signifies an early marriage.
    To be in an ancient abbey indicates future luck.

    They mean you will go on a journey or if hopping near your door it means luck for that day.
    Cats.
    To lovers it means both are shy.
    Cattle.
    If driving cattle you will make money.
    Rabbit or Hare.
    If going on a journey it is an unlucky omen for either to cross your path.
