- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)of the founder. The question is difficult to decide as the inscription is gone. In one of the chapels adjoining is a tomb inscribed "Theobald Roche" with the date 1634, and in both chapels are several ancient and curiously sculptured gravestones. Right in the centre of the Abbey building is a tower 80 feet in height and from its top a beautiful view can be got of the surrounding country. Many wild tales are told about the Abbey the most common one being, that a quantity of gold was got there about 80 years ago among the ruins.
