    struck the chimney and the people in the house were thrown from their chairs. There was none of them hurt. When they got up off the floor they went out to look at the cows and horses. When they entered the first stall there was nothing wrong with the cows. When they entered the second stall there were three cows dead on the right side of the stall, and two cows dead on the left side. When they entered the stables there were two horses dead. When they went into the paddock it was ploughed up by the lightning.
