- Long ago there lived near Ballyclough Mallow an old man. He was not long living there when he built a castle which was called Loher. He had three sons and two daughters. One boy was amrried.
This man was a miser and one time he buried a pot of gold near the castle. When he was dying he told his sons that it would be easy for them to find this Treasure. He said that they would find it where the moon shone because on the day he was hiding it the moon was shining on that place.
When he died the boys began searching for the gold where the moon shone. They remained looking for it all day where the moon shone but failed to find it. Every day one boy stayed looking for it(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
