    and the people had to run for their lives.
    People do not agree as to the value of this treasure, some believe that it consists of valuable stones as well as a large quantity of gold, believed to have been brought by seamen on their return from many journeys. Others say it only contains the hoardings of a miser.
    No light is seen around this place but some people claim to have seen a beautifully coloured trout in the river at certain times but they are unable to catch him. He is supposed to guard the treasure.
    The people who really believed this treasure exists often spent some time thinking of some means of getting at it.
