  1. A Funny Story
This story is connected with two crows, one residing in Glouycarney (in the barony of the East Division of West Carbery) and the other in Co. Limerick.
The Gounycarney crow paid a visit to the crows of Co. Limerick and was terrified at the number of people he saw shooting every day. He told one of the other crows that you would never see such a thing as a gun in his part of the country and he advised his friend to return with him to Co. Cork.
Curious to know the truth of the matter, the Co. Limerick crow started on the journey to Glouneycarney. When he reached there he found that nobody interfered with the crows and that they had a very happy life.
