Rag weed and dandelion are cures for sort lips. Those weeds should only be a few hours pulled before using. Garlic is a little plant shaped like seed onions. It usually grows in bad rocky land it prevents cattle from getting the black-leg. The Mullingan plant is a cure for bronchitis.
The deta leaf is a cure for scrapes or cuts. The deta leaf is sometimes given as food for pigs in the Summertime. Nettles are given to young ducks in the late Spring. There are no traditions connected with any herb I know of. The herbs that were used relieved the patient at once.
