“Once upon a time there lived people named Reillys in Blake's castle. One day Henry Reilly was coming to see his mother in the castle.”

Ever since he is seen walking about the pier at ten o'clock at night, and no matter how well they dash or whitewash the pier his blood still remains on it. The people had to knock the pier and build a new one. Henry Reilly is buried in Johnswell churchyard at the sacristy door. The words written on his tombstone are Henry O'Reilly who departed this life 9th Oct(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
