There were three men watching a well outside the town, and at about three o'clock they heard a step coming towards them. They took some water out of the well and drank it because if they did not put it to some use it would not prevent the woman from taking the butter on them. Then they hid behind a tree and the woman came and started to skim the well. When she was skimming the well one of them rushed out from behind the tree, and shoved her in on top
