    It should be boiled and rubbed to the sore.

  2. The old people had a strange way of sowing seed. When they wanted to sow whitethorn they would plait a sugán and in every plait they would put a seed Then they would turn a sod on the top of the ditch and lay down the sugan in the hollow and turn down the sod, and after a while would grow up straight.
