  1. Some years ago there were two lazy men living near Rathcroghan. They met each day, walked around, and watched other people working.
    This day as they sauntered along they noticed several crows and two magpies picking at the carcase of a dead beast in Mr. Irwin's land. Pat and Mike watched them for a time.
    At last Pat said it was time they did something seeing that these birds were so busy.
    "You're right", says Mike, "as I see two of these in their shirt-sleeves already".
