    The hiring fair is the greatest fair of the year. It occours every six months they are called the May fair and the November fair. On that day people hire boys and girls to work. In some parts of Ireland special fairs are held for the selling or buying of sheep. There is a special place in the town for selling bonhams. The buyers meet the cattle out the road and buy them.
