- Potato Bread
Potato bread was also used in olden times and is often used yet. In olden times it was made from boiled potatoes and oat meal but now it is made from boiled potatoes and flour.
After dinner the potatoes left over were peeled, then a tin was used for bruising them.
When the potatoes were bruised they were then mixed with flour a little butter and milk.
It was then rolled out. Cut into squares and baked on the griddle for seven or ten minutes.
