    week then the fire was let die out and the ashes was taken away. Then some clay was got and mixed with with water. A man took some to the top of the kiln and plastered the top of the kiln with it. This plaster was about six inches thick and it kept the heat with the lime. After three days the kiln was opened and the lime was taken out and sold.
