  1. Weather Lore
    It's an old saying that if the sun goes down red to the west it's a sign of good weather. When the wind blow's from the South East it's a sign of good weather.
    If the new moon starts on Saturday it's a sign of rain. If the stars are sparkling in the sky it's a sign of frost. If the clouds are heavy, and moving very fast it's a sign of rain. A rainbow in the night is a shepherd's delight. A rainbow in the morning is a shepherd's warning. If the sun rises too early in the morning it's a sign of rain.
