These are some of the names which we call our fields and hills.
The sallies, the hill field, the sipsilon, moonenen, the fort, Tommie's hill, Nellie Oatsis hill, Burke's field.
The field that is called the sallies is called that because there used to be sallied growing in it.
The hill field got its name from a big hill that is in the field. There is a fairy fort in the field we called "the fort."
Tommies hill got its name because it was a man named Tommie that owned it.
There was a woman named Nellie Oats who lived on top of the hill and when he died the hill was called after her.
We call another field Burkes field because it was owned by a man named Burke. Another field is called the castle field because long ago there was(continues on next page)- Collector
