when the potatoes are dug we pick the large one's first and then the smaller ones. They put them in different pits out in the field. They throw a heap of weeds on top of them and they put clay on them also. We give the smaller potatoes to the hens or the pigs. These are the names of the potatoes Kerrpinks, Dates, Flounders, Irish Queens, Epicures and Arran banners. Kerrpinks grow best in our district. Everybody digs their own potatoes.
