My name is Padden Connell and the truth to ye I'll tell.
My self and the Old fellow we are the boys from hell.
For fighting and quarelling and hammering away,
And killing the old mother by nigh and by day.
It was in the fifteenth of April this quarrell took place.
Between Micí and Paddy likewise John and Mairo.
Old Mary Moore in the corner and Maria on the floor and Mairs telling John to run out the back door.
So as John made a run Paddy threw him down and Michael gave Pat a stroke on the crown.
When Mairs saw Pat falling she made a loud groan.
Saying God help you Paddy you must part from your home.
As Paddy thought to ramble with his donkey and cart.
Michael had sworn he would break his very heart.
