  1. Once upon a time there was a man the name of Johnston coming from a fair in the Co. of Mayo. When he was by a lake there came a white lady up of it. She called him in his own name in Irish. She walked with him until they came to a thatched house he turned in there and he fainted. He waited at the door until the crew, he did not like to awake the people of the house. When he came home he went to bed and never left it until he died.
