    Shops were not common in olden times. People had not to go to the nearest town to make purchases Hucksters got goods and and they went to the country and sold all the goods that they could. On Sunday after mass the people would bring in butter, hens, chickens and eggs and get the worth of them in goods. When the Hucksters came to the house the woman of the house got the goods on "lick" until Sunday. Then the woman gave eggs, or butter.
    Nowadays the people of the country have not walk to the shops the shops they have shops near them.
