    Blindwell. There was a cow sick in the village. She told Mrs. Corcoran to make a dose of salts and give it to the owner of the cow and that the cow would be cured. This she did but when she came back after giving away the dose her own cow was dead.
    Lough Lee near Shrule is a lake that there is no bottom to. Every seven years a cow comes out of the lake, brings a calf from a neighbor and both cow and calf disappears into the lake for seven years more.
