   Round this neighbourhood when a child goes into a house at Easter time the woman of the house always gives the child a few eggs.
   At other times she always gives the child a slice of bread or an apple. At Christmas time no one leaves a house without being "treated".
   Nobody gives away milk or butter on May day. Neither do people leave their cows out on May eve.
   When people are churning and a visitor comes in they must always take a "hand' at the churning or else the butter will not come.
   Sometimes people put coals under the churn to help the butter to come quicker.
   At 'stations" people always bring eggs, butter or may be home made cakes.
   When the "stations" are over there is generally a little dance in the house.
   When people give a present of money they put a pinch of salt with it.
