In our place the following cures are used for warts.
This is one cure to get 3 thrawneens and make the sign of the Cross 3 times in the name of the 3 Divine Persons between 3 different fingers.
Another cure is to bury a piece of meat in some place where it will rot and as the meat is rotting the wart will be decaying.
This is a cure we have for a Stye to make the sign of the Cross 3 times every tuesday with a gold ring on your eye.
In the spring time people boil young nettles and drink the water as cure for pimples, boils and all skin diseases.
For a pain in the ear a piece of roasted ontion is put in the ear at night.
A cure for a whitlow is to strike the sore finger against the water that is coming from a pot when potatoes are boiling.
