   In Barnes Gap there is a ghostly car which when anyone comes near it, it disappears. Out at the mad-man's lane there is supposed to walk a mad-man with chains on him. Over in my Granny's house the fairies are supposed to (walk) come every night and stay in a room. People say this because there used to be a light in it all night. My cousin was supposed to have heard a banshee before my Auntie died. One night while she was sitting at the fire she heard a dog bark in the barn so she went out to let him out but there was'nt a dog in the barn. She went out three times but she never discovered a dog. There is a place on my uncle's farm and it is all a heap of stones. It is a fairy place
