- There is a field in Brownstone called "Fintzsimmon's field with a land leading down to the gateway of it . The lane is known as the Green Land .It is said that anyone in the field after twelve o'clock at night will be surrounded by a thick mist of fog. Then they will hear voices calling them by their name from all directions. If they follow these voices they will fall into a big lake and be drowned . These voices are only luring them to their destruction . They are called fairy voices, the voice of the Ban-shee or Fairy woman.
