They were invited to a great dinner and when it was over the priest's gander came to clear the table. They gave the Rógaire new bag pipes and when he came home he started to play them and there wasn't a gander in the world that was not gabbling in the pipes.
Then he said he would go to the priest and tell him that he stole the gander. The priest gave him pardon and he came home and played the old pipes and there was not a tune in the world that he was not able to play.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
