If a person got burned they would get nettles boil them and put them on the part that is burned. Then they would cure them very quickly.
Another cure they had for a burn is, they would get the elm tree, pull a few of the sticks, and peel them thinly. Then they would boil them and put them on the part that is burned.
When a girl was getting married they would fling a pair of shoes after her so that she would have luck.
