- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Once more I roam around that home,
Sweet home of happy joy,
When life was one long golden hour,
Of bliss fond hope and joy,
I am passing now by Mophill Lake,
The road leads to Brookhill,
I am passing oer that silvery slope,
I am out by Donlan's Mill,
And through Tubberally up that dark and slight incline,
Still now I stand upon the hill out looking sweet Crossbyne. From there the winding Robe roars on,
That silvery streak through green.
When passing the slopes of Purplemoor that's mearing by Taugheen,
Through Tubberally, the dear old spot,
Through Hollymount I go,
Oh in vain should I not follow on,
It's course through sweet Mayo,
For I, now, with my wandering soul, keep to that well known track,
Through Hamilton's green clad cot to Ballindine and back.
Through woods and moors and till I reach where the green hills are smiling down
On those gable roofs and streets I loved, in dear old Claremorris Town.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
