- It seems to the casual individual who merely gives a passing thought to the old sayings and beliefs, that they are groundless and that nobody with any common sense would place any reliance on them.
I believe myself that that fact may be disputed. I do not mean to say for a definite fact that we can foresee the future nor do I mean to say that we can foretell or prophesy the future. I will say that after carefully observing the different colours and condition of the sky and stars we can have a fair chance of inferring correctly what kind of weather we shall have. As to being able to state definitely, as practically all the radio authorities do, the thing is absurd and ridiculous.(continues on next page)
