    for me" she says to herself; she thought all the time 'twas ould Moll was there.
    When she cam in home Moll was inside before her.
    "How long are you here"? says Nanny
    "Yerra I was here, child, when your mother sent you to Kilworth" says Moll.
    "Weren't you up the road before me and didn't you turn up the gulley?" says Nanny
    "Muire, I suppose I was" says she, "and I went up the gulley home and I came down around here"
    Moll know well 'twas something she saw and she didn't want to frighten her.

  2. Noises in a House
    There was a man wan time and he used to live alone. He was a big farmer and a wealthy man. Every night he couldn't sleep for hours with noise and hammering in the house.
    He told the priest about it and he came and read over the place. But I suppose he didn't use his power, for the noise was as bad as ever. Some time after the priest called
