    So the poor Scholar came up to the fire and he sat down. There was a big cat sitting beside it. "That's a very fine cat you have." says the poor scholar
    "Oh" says Mr. Kennedy Hayes, "I dont call that cat, I call him "white-face Jimmy' "
    "Begor" says he "I never heard of that name before.
    After awhile anyway the poor Scholar says "that's a grand trousers you're wearing, Mr. Hayes"
    "Oh," says Mr. Hayes "I dont call that a trousers I call it a 'farting cracker' " says he
    "I never heard of that name for a trousers before," says the poor Scholar.
    After a while the poor Scholar says to Mr. Kennedy Hayers: "I think 'tis nearly time to be going to bed"
    "What do call bed to," says Mr. Hayes; I call it a lazy degree."
    Well that the quarest name I ever heard before for bed" says the poor Scholar.
    "Well," says Mr. Kennedy Hayes, "where will I
