  1. Long ago there was a gentleman and his coachman driving along in a carriage along the road. They came along to a little thatched cabin on the roadside. On the opposite side of the road sat a man and he crying.
    The gentleman was the man's landlord so he ordered the driver to stop. He got down and asked the man what was the matter with him that he was crying, and the man said that he could not go in with a bad chimney.
    "Oh I must go in and see it" says he. So in he went. As soon as he got inside the door the man's wife gave
