    music which was called serenading. They used to play until they got their whiskey after which they went peacefully away. Failing to get it, they blew away all night making the air vibrate with their very much out-of-tune notes. It was the custom also for a bride to ride to her new home on horseback.
    These old habits are things of the past nowadays, modern people would never dream of adhering to the old regimes of their ancestors.
