    side of the rath and it is surrounded by a large stone wall. The top of the rath is coveredd with palm trees. Near the rath was said to be a pagan temple and the gods were worshiped there. It is also thought that the sun was worshipped at that place, because in the wall which surrounded the rath are two curved lines one facing the west and the other facing the east and they seem to be connected with the sun. There is now a small church in good condition in the place.
