  1. In the year 1917 there was a great fall of snow. Larry Brennan was coming home from the mountain, but when he came to Killinick the road was covered with snow. He had a pony and cart but owing to the deep snow, he had to leave the cart in Killinick and walk home with the pony. He was fairly cold when he got home.
